We are nearly two months into 2011 and is it just me or is EastEnders getting boring.?

EastEnders have boring storylines, some of which drag on and on, they never have big stunts expect a fire once a year, im not a fan of Coronation Street, however in 2010 they had a fire and a tram crash, why doesn't EastEnders have a major disaster, also does anyone want to see anyone leave or return?.
