What are fun things to do in Spokane,WA near lake Roosevelt?

In Spokane there are lots of great parks and restaurants. I would definitely check out Riverfront Park. They have beautiful walking paths and many restaurants nearby. For really good Italian I would go to Tomato Street (N. Division and Francis). There's the Museum of Arts and Culture next to the beautifully restored Campbell house.
