Have you ever had major surgery of any kind? How were you treated and how long did you take to recoup?

Yes, I had major back surgery in which rods and screws fused 5 vertebrae after an accident. After 2.5 years I am still working on getting better but this type of surgery can sometimes mess you up for the rest of your life. The recovery time for other major surgeries depends on the type of surgery and whether or not there are complications.
