How do i get my window in to my car door?

i have an 01 montero sport and the back door on the driver side gl was busted out i got the new window and i got the door panel off i just need to know how to fit the gl into the seels i have tried many dif. ways i cant get it to fit in there and i dont wanna pay 50 bucks to have it done
